Bring out the confetti, I’m going to Vegas?

I am SOOO excited! I don’t have a book deal in hand… but I’ve made it past the preliminary screening! Saturday I turn my life upside down in order to squeeze in a chance to pitch my book idea to a panel of publishers. Tickled pink is… well, it doesn’t cover the half of it! A first and real chance to publish a book!

I have been working diligently on my artwork as well, although life has been upside down as usual, and being busy remembering what it’s like to be social. (Truly, it is novel to be among peers and not children all day.) As such, I’ve accidentally left my tablet at my friend’s house, and this is the last snapshot I have of my work.

I’ve been dying to share something here, even if it’s still incomplete. Not all experiments can be successful ones, and that is the latest work in progress I have. I was hoping to finish cleaning up the lines before posting, but I suppose that will have to wait until next time. By then, I might be finished…

I’ve been slowly collecting photos, and excepting what befalls Saturday, my next update should be about the garden. I am so in love with that, too <3
