Like the turning of the seasons…
I have had the greatest itch to draw, but try finding a subject matter.

Well, a lovely friend of mine gave me permission to pilfer a photo (I am so in love with those pants!), and even with permission, the idea took awhile to germinate. Not until an acquaintance decided to go spelunking through my art experience for advice… seeing her beautiful work inspired me to stop being idle and create.

I will definitely give credit to my formal art training, but I’m particularly pleased as punch, because what cocky arse draws without an eraser? O.o Well, I didn’t have one and took that as a personal challenge.

Glad it didn’t stop me… I’ll take that as a personal best as well.

Started tracing it digitally and working it into a larger drawing, as one can  only go so far with a 6×4″ (roughly A6) field book. Really missing my Wacom Companion… can’t find the cable. ::SIGH:: Would be nice to take it to work during breaks.

On the jewelry front I have a lot to do… I am having this CRAZY anxiety to go to the post office. Does not make sense and will utterly burn any credibility to sell items online if I don’t get this fixed. I have about a million things to mail… a few necklaces friends asked to trade for, my give-away prize on FB (thank-fully THAT is going to a friend), and one a friend is waiting for me to tell her I’ve mailed it for her to pay me. ::sweatdrop:: I am… ridiculous. I hate anxiety >.<

The girls continue to enjoy school. Poor Dragonet was ill with a stomach bug today, so I encouraged Phee to sit with a neighbour’s little girl her age that is also attending her school for the first time, but in different classes. Phee came home and announced she made a fast friend. <3

Speaking of the girls, their birthday is right around the corner. Paget suggested a combined movie party for the two of them, and with my limited reserves this year, it sounds like probably the thing to do. The girls of course, loved the idea, so it sounds settled in the span of fifteen minutes. ::laughs::

Anywho… c’est tout pour aujourd’hui!

I have managed… so little besides work, sleep, more sleep… seems the last 5 months have caught up with me.

Still got stories brewing.
