Monday was my birthday, and with it came a beautiful gift. <3

My desire for a new keyboard was noted a few weeks ago and acted upon.The Elf is a happy camper, may I just say. ::smiles:: It responds beautifully, and the keys are well spaced.

I’ve had an itch to draw and use my tablet with it of course;  however, I am absolutely devastated that I can’t find my original wedding photos.

I thought it would be ::coughs:: captivating to alter my avatar to include a dragon standing possessively at my side, but the low-res files at PhotoBucket seem to be all that remain. I suppose that is my cue to draw everything from scratch; we’ll see if I’m up to the challenge?

Dusting off my tablet also means a return to my green pseudodragon, and a push to finish what I start. Funny that I enjoy landscapes, but not when it comes to background scenes.

There just seems a crushing number of …issues, to contend with lately.

Photographing my jewelry seems a monumental task, however my husband helped me install shelving this evening (thank-you Ikea for your genius). My workspace is now my own again, and perhaps now I can begin chipping away at the work that needs to be done. Now if only the dishes would do themselves, I would be set.

(At the crux of the matter, I am heart-sore and honestly, that makes it difficult to focus.)

But, ever forward… that’s the way to get things done.
